Deviation Actions
Well I was gone a lot longer this time. Been through quite a lot in these last six months, still going through some things. I had figured I'd probably just let DA go, but what the hell. I can't promise I'll be doing any art anytime soon though, this being my final year in university and me with an awful lot on. For the time being I thought I might post some written deviations, having quite a few past pieces to put up. So I've uploaded one to see how it goes.

Build A Better Mousetrap
I've been a bit absent lately, for which I apologise. I have a huge backlog of deviations to go through, as well as journals, polls, etc. And I will! I promise.
In the meantime, I'm just going to try and get back into this whole art thing. What with travelling up and down the UK, going back to Uni, reading far too many books for my course and various illnesses and whatnot, I've got out of the habit of drawing. I have done a little writing, but I'm really not sure DA is the place for that (plus the response, or lack of, to my last piece of writing was a bit of an ego deflation). A Slight Case Of Reincarnation
HURRAH!
I... have... ARTED.
At long last I have pulled both thumbs firmly from 'twixt my buttocks and set them to drawing. And I have scanned them! And they are on here! For possibly the first time I have uploaded something new that wasn't drawn years before.
Anyway, the actual pictures are eight Artist Trading Cards. I suppose they are on a loose theme in that all of them began life as copies of images from classic British 60s tv (the sort of stuff I blog about) - Adam Adamant Lives!, Public Eye, Spindoe etc etc. None of them look much like the pictures I was drawing from but I'm happy with them in their own ways. And they are colourful!
No Marks For Servility
I've been a bit rubbish at this art posting scheme, as my long lack of updates makes very clear. Unfortunately I have gone from a period of artists block whilst surrounded by all the tools possible to make and upload any pictures, to the exact opposite. Well, I'm not saying Im dripping with good ideas, or the ability to put them on paper. But I am playing with a few thoughts, quite different from my usual stuff (whatever that be). But I don't have a scanner. :(
Anyway, at least Im even thinking about art again. And whilst it may have nothing art related on it (at all) I also now have a blog, at http://theobjectofsuchdevotion.blogsome.com/ .

Ah, but it has been a while. It's not like I don't come on DeviantArt, I probably check it every day, and favourite things and comment and what not. But I have abused my own page, not updating in some months. Shame, shame, shame.
And I have to admit, I haven't actually done any new art. I've uploaded a couple of pictures, at last, but these are all from my high school sketch book - so a few years old. At the moment I'm in a bit of a slump, seemingly in all creative fields, but with good company, good food and good gravy I'm finding it hard to be bothered by that right now.
